With Grateful Hearts: Green Knights Gear Runners Named 1st Runner-Up at National Robothon 2025

MANILA, Philippines — March 8, 2025 — With grateful hearts and unwavering faith, the Green Knights Gear Runners humbly celebrate their achievement as 1st Runner-Up in the 10th National Robothon Competition – Innovative Open Category, held at National University (NU), Manila. Amidst 41 participating colleges and universities from across the nation, the team presented their project, PadlyBot, a humble yet purposeful innovation that reflects not only technical excellence, but also a heart for service and teamwork. Guided by faith and a desire to represent their institution with integrity, the students embraced the challenge not to compete for personal glory, but to grow, serve, and honor the gifts entrusted to them. Through their unity and perseverance, they were able to offer their best, and in return, received this meaningful recognition. "This journey has been one of learning, humility, and grace," shared Coach Louiegie A. Vedeja, who, along with Coach Ross Dexter Q. Mejia, mentored the team with patience and dedication. The team is composed of four Grade 11 students — Juliane Daine Eleuterio, Shannyn Pantinople, Xyryl Jay Llego, and Rica Aryan Ortega — whose talents, discipline, and cooperation made this achievement possible. Together, they poured their efforts into PadlyBot, a project that now stands as a reflection of what young hearts and minds can accomplish when guided by purpose and prayer. In gratitude, the team offers this milestone back to God, saying:
